ROLE: Production Brand Manager

BRANDED is looking for a Brand Manager to join our Packaging team based in Uxbridge to oversee brand quality and consistency on selected packaging accounts. You will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of high quality and commercially focused packaging guidelines, and with sharing and communicating these with Branded Packaging teams. The successful candidate will be able to interpret client expectations and brief and then confidently develop a set of guidelines for others to follow.

This position is ideal for a candidate who excels at creating rapport and fostering strong relationships, both within the organisation and externally. The successful candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and a robust understanding of packaging fundamentals, including essential compliance requirements. Additionally, in-depth knowledge of various printing techniques is crucial, as it will enable you to develop comprehensive guidelines that others can easily reference and follow.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Develop clear, easy-to-follow packaging guidelines for clients and brand teams, incorporating technical specifications.
  • Create first-of-its-kind master artworks for use by production teams as templates for roll-outs.
  • Conduct brand compliance reviews on master artworks produced by the packaging team.
  • Organise regular review meetings with packaging teams to update them on brand changes.
  • Maintain proper filing and naming conventions for all brand documentation.
  • Provide support for brand-related inquiries from the business, clients, and partners.
  • Assist in various other business areas as needed.
  • Foster a culture of quality throughout the organisation.

REQUIREMENTS: 

Experience & Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • Capable of working autonomously, effectively prioritising and delegating tasks as needed.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities to foster team and client relationships.
  • A keen eye for detail, crucial in quality control.
  • Minimum of 5 years in designing packaging master artworks and developing brand guidelines.
  • Solid understanding of packaging technicalities and printing processes (Litho, Flexo, Gravure), including compliance with common packaging mandates (e.g., chemical labelling, OPRL logo rules, French recycling standards).
  • Proficient in reviewing packaging artworks for brand consistency, technical accuracy, content, and overall coherence.
  • Experienced with multilingual packaging artworks.
  • Ability to create impactful 2D visuals; beneficial but not required.
  • Strong command of packaging-focused Adobe Creative Cloud software, including use of actions, symbols, patterns, and text styles.
  • Experience with Google and Microsoft Office software; beneficial. Ability to quickly learn new software and technologies.

WHAT WE OFFER YOU: 

  • Base salary ranges from £35-£38k p.a. depending on experience. 
  • Working hours are 8:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday (including 1 hour for lunch)
  • A hybrid working pattern is available once induction and training is complete with 3 day in our Uxbridge studio and 2 days from home
  • 25 days holiday
  • Employee Profit Share Scheme
